12월 29일 발생한 제주항공 참사로 인해 많은 가족들이 깊은 슬픔과 고통에 빠졌습니다. 

이 비극적인 사건으로 희생된 분들과 그 가족들에게 우리의 따뜻한 위로와 지원을 전하고자 합니다. 

이에 한인회에서는 제주항공 참사 피해 가족들을 돕기 위한 성금 모금을 시작합니다.

SCF fund program 일환으로 커뮤니티 모임이 있었습니다. 런던 경찰 강력반 팀의  런던시 마약 및 범죄에 대한 현안 프레젠테이션이 있었습니다.

새 런던 경찰서장이 작년에 부임한 후에 여러 커뮤니티와의 콜라보레이션에 대한 모임들이 많이 있습니다. 다음번엔 다른 이사분들도 참석할 수 있길 바랍니다.

Hi everyone, esteemed Canadian Korean War veterans, and honored Korean community leaders.  

As we sit down together today, we honor not only the memories of those who served during the Korean War but also the enduring spirit of camaraderie that binds us. Our veterans, heroes who braved the harsh realities of battle, deserve our utmost respect and gratitude.

In their presence, we share stories—of courage in the face of adversity, of sacrifice for a cause greater than oneself. These veterans, whether they fought on the frontlines or supported from behind, etched their names into history. They stood shoulder to shoulder, bridging continents and cultures, defending democracy.

As we share our Korean cuisine, let us listen to their experiences- the unwavering commitment. Their valor echoes through time, reminding us that liberty is a torch passed from one generation to the next.

To our veterans, we say thank you. Your service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment inspire us to build a world where peace prevails, and freedom flourishes. 

Lastly, we thank Consol 지호 박 from Toronto Cosulate General who made today's special lunch possible. He suggested and proposed it to the Korean government so this means a lot.  Our veterans, our dearest friends, you are deeply cherished and recognized by the Korean Government. You will be remembered forever by all of us.
